Teacher Translational Sessions
Teachers and K-12 technology specialists from across the state will have the opportunity to participate in festival events. Professors Cheryl Mason Bolick and Suzanne Gulledge from the UNC School of Education have coordinated “translational workshops” to help teachers and technologists take what they see and experience at CHAT and apply it, practically, in their own classrooms. These teachers and technologists will then serve as ambassadors and share their experience in their own districts.
Educators will “translate” festival discussions into practical approaches and ideas K-12 teachers can implement in their own classrooms. Entry to these sessions is restricted to K-12 teachers.
